Reason 3 of 7
Don't buy it by the bar if running out mid-shower is your idea of fun.
Nothing wakes you up like reaching for soap that isn't there.
Translation
A case on the shelf means you never run out. Finish a bar, the next one's already waiting.
There’s an adrenaline to it. Lathered up, eyes shut, reaching for a bar that’s now a translucent wafer or simply gone. The towel-wrapped hunt for a spare. The mental note you’ll forget by tomorrow. If that’s the spice your mornings need, keep buying one at a time.
A case on the shelf takes all the suspense out of it. Finish a bar, the next one’s right there. And the one after that. You stop tracking soap entirely, because there’s always more. It is a deeply boring way to live, never running out.
But if you’ll miss the thrill of the empty dish, by all means, stay on the edge.
